Mi 10 5G is going to be launched in India today. Xiaomi is finally hosting an online event to launch its flagship smartphone after a delay in launch due to the Coronavirus lockdown in the country. Along with m10 5G, the company will also launch Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 and Mi Box at this event. All these products have already been introduced either in China or in the global market and now finally they are being brought in the Indian market. The biggest USP of the Mi 10 5G is the 108-megapixel primary rear sensor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Similarly, the Mi Box is a smart box that converts non-smart TVs into smart TVs.

Mi 10 5G launch event details

The Mi 10 5G launch event will begin at 12 noon and will be streamed live through the official YouTube channel, Mi.com, the Me Community and the company's social handle. With the Mi 10 5G, Xiaomi has already confirmed the launch of Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 and Mi Box. The Mi10 5G has already been listed on Amazon India and the company has also confirmed that the phone can also be pre-ordered from 2 pm today. The pre-order of the phone will run till 17 May. Mi 10 price in India (expected)

The price of mi10 5G in India has not been officially revealed yet. Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain had earlier stated that its prices in India will be slightly different from the price in China due to factors such as direct imports, recent GST hike and rupee depreciation. For the sake of guess, the Mi 10 5G was launched in China at an initial price of 3,999 Chinese Yuan (about 42,800 rupees).

Jain recently announced on Twitter that Me True Wireless earphones 2 will be launched with the Mi 10 5G. These true wireless earphones were launched in the global market in March this year for 80 euros (about Rs 6,600). Currently, its price has not been revealed in India, but it is quite likely that the company will launch it around the price of Realme Buds Air, which is already available in India for Rs 3,999.

Mi True Wireless earphones 2 seems largely inspired by Apple AirPods. It comes with a charging case and shows white options in teasers. It will support Bluetooth 5.0 and LHDC Bluetooth codec, an uncommon competitor to Qualcomm's aptX and Sony's LDAC Bluetooth codec. The earbuds are fitted with a 14.2 millimeter driver as well as a large composite dynamic coil and Xiaomi also offers ENC.

The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Global model is rated to deliver up to four hours of battery life on a single charge, while the charging case extends battery life to 14 hours.
